Guess who I met today?
Food Network Star, Alton Brown signing a book for me at Off Square Books here in Oxford. Of "Good Eats", "Feasting on Asphalt", and "Iron Chef--America" fame (just in case you didn't know who this was):
But then he did apparently (according to him) recently get back from the Caribbean for another special, "Feasting on Seas", and perhaps studio lights brighten him up a bit.
Well, he has come into my home virtually every night for the past nearly five years. And besides, how often will I get to look like best buddies with a quasi-celebrity?
